Grand Canyon Rafting
There are only two options for a one day rafting trip in Grand Canyon.
We offer two very different one day grand canyon rafting trips:
One Day Colorado River Rafting
Just upstream of Grand Canyon National Park is the serene and scenic reach of
Glen Canyon. The red canyon walls contrast sharply with the deep blue
desert sky. This is great
trip for the whole family (minimum
age is 3). Operates March through October.
Whitewater Rafting Trip
There is only one
white water day trip available in the Grand Canyon. It
is located in the lower portions of the Grand Canyon that is owned and managed by the Hualapai
Tribe, and access to the river here is on their land. Below the access
road lies nine miles of world class white water and stunning waterfalls.
This exciting adventure runs the last major rapids of Grand Canyon and runs out
on the smoother upper reaches of Lake Mead. You will exit the canyon on a
brief helicopter flight to the Hualapai portion of Grand Canyon. Operates March through October.
If you're looking for a
multiday river trip that involves camping along the banks of the Colorado
River, then we recommend you contact our friends at Canyoneers.
